The troop does at least one camping trip per month in the Spring, Summer and Fall. In addition to these weekend trips, a week long summer camp is always planned to ensure the scouts have the opportunities for advancement. Recent summer camps include Camp Falling Rock in Ohio, Camp Davy Crockett in Tennessee, and Daniel Boone Scout Reserve in Kentucky. The boys are planning on going to summer camp in New York in 2012. | |||||

Service projects are a big part of scouting. The troop regularly participates in service projects for the local community, including fund raising events for charities, events for veterans, and the winter Sights and Sounds Of Christmas. | |||||

Day trips are used as an alternative to camping when the weather is bad. The troop uses these days trips primarily in the winter and include day hiking trips and adventures to Cabela's and other outdoor stores. | |||||
