Formed in 1961, the troop reached it peak of nearly 45 boys around 1985. However, the troop slowly
dwindled from there until in 1994, the charter was not renewed.
In 2004, the idea was brought up to renew the troop and a new charter was issued in 2005. The troop started off
again with 6 boys and plenty of adult help. The troop continues to grow in membership as boys experience how
fun and rewarding scouting is as parents see the benefits of being involved in the Boy Scouts.
